Before he joined the Bugly Insectoids, he was a young recruit serving under his superior officer, Sergeant V (a small Milkweed Bug) and later considered to be the hero of a town called “Bridge City” for saving the Animaverian civilians from the Centipede Patriot Alliance and became the next sergeant after the death of his former superior officer, Sergeant V, who mistreated him back when he was the lowest in his class/team. His heroism inspired Striketis into joining his team before his wife gave birth to Bo and Mo. His personality is described as a stereotypical drill-sergeant trying to push young recruits into doing better and calls them “Troqies” meaning “worthless,” also has a short temper, laid back, and an honorable insectoid with a good heart does whatever it takes to serve the Animaverian military and his team especially towards his family and loves them dearly. (His wife and two of his children, Bo, and Mo) Back when he was enrolled at Diamondropolis Academy, he met his future wife, stalking him daily applying that she is in love with him. His name is a pun from “kabutomushi” as in the true name of a Japanese Horn Beetle.
