After hearing the news reports about an imposter posing as a health imposter to obtain free food, he snapped and vowed to kill him. He successfully killed the imposter, forced Squishy to hide the body for the safety of his employment status, and killed two police officers that caught them in the act, destroying their car to hide the evidence. Later at night, Dende was surrounded by a dark aura, voice telling him to murder more to end his misery, thus making him believe the world does not want him anymore. The next day when he went berserk, his employees, Eve and Caesar found out that Dende is truly responsible for the fake health inspector’s death by poisoning him, they call the police officers, and successfully arrested him, not before vowing to slaughter his employees for selling him out to the authorities. After being apprehended, he went through a dramatic monologue about his former employees betraying and wanted revenge. The same dark aura begins to surround his body, causing him to transform into a hideous monstrous snail mutant, killing the two passerby guards, break through the bars of his prison cell, exited the prison through a sewer tunnel, and begins his revenge quest. After slaughtering Caesar, the news spread about his killing spree, destroying his own restaurant to try to kill his employees, but thankfully they escaped, he tracked Squishy and Eve to an abandon neighborhood, but devoured Eve alive. Squishy escorts Soko and Kuchimba to the same neighborhood, they find his tent located in the park area, they enter the tent, find several boxes containing severed heads, and a map that reads that Squishy is his next victim. As he appeared behind the trio, Soko fights him for Kuchimba to get Squishy out of here, but Soko none of his attacks harm him, so he was sent flying towards Squishy and Kuchimba’s position. Squishy told them to hold off Dende while he gets something out of his basement of his house, suddenly the phone rang, and Kuchimba answers it, Dende breathes heavily into it, and hangs up. The electricity was cut off, unnerving Soko and Kuchimba, they both were cautious and scared at the same time. As the door slowly opens, Soko prepares to fight, while Kuchimba stands behind Soko for backup, emerging out of the door appears to be a small harmless snail. They were confused at first, asking what he is doing, but the small snail morphed into Dende, revealing himself, causing Soko and Kuchimba to freak out after transforming. Dende pulls out his chainsaw (holding on his left tentacle) and bazooka (holding on his right tentacle) forcing the duo into a corner, Soko warns Dende to stay away from them, Dende then interrogates them to know Squishy’s whereabouts, before Kuchimba can answer, suddenly Squishy showed up wearing a t-shirt, charged at him, the duo tried to stop him, but both got slapped away, when Dende looked like he finally gets his revenge on Squishy, he pointed both weapons at him, Squishy jumped behind Dende, his shirt got caught in the chainsaw, revealing a bomb tied to his torso, Soko and Kuchimba gasped knowing that Squishy plans to kill himself to save Nexus City, they tried to stop him from committing suicide, but got blasted away by the bazooka, sending them flying outside of house through the wall, Dende asks what is he planning to do with that bomb, Squishy replied that he is going to do what he should have done a long time ago. The bomb detonates and kills them both in the process, thus ending Dende’s bloodlust. At the end of that same chapter, it is revealed that President Pluto is responsible for Dende’s corruption, as well as the deaths in this episode, allowing him to collect the souls of his victims that he needed to regain his full power, and applying that he is one step closer of achieving his goal.
