He was once a resident at Ghoul City and set off to see what the world is like. He tries to coexist with the other Animaverian inhabitants but was rejected due to his mixed appearance. He wonders in the streets of Diamondropolis where he lived homeless, hiding his appearance from the world, but was taken in by Headmaster Zubon IV to enroll into his school, Diamondropolis Academy where he can learn to socialize with students and reveal his true appearance when the time is right. In Volume II, he was chosen by President Juvbia to aid M.I.G.H.T. to track down the terrorist organization, The Golden Claw Society after they revealed themselves to the world. During his confrontation with the terrorist mastermind, Emas Kengeran, he unleashes all ten of his ring powers that he easily repelled. Their brief battle was interrupted by Soko and General Shiwa whom the Chimera told the duo not to intervene. Lowering his guard, Emas uses his poison ring to shoot acid that burns off Mysterium's mask, forcing him to remove it, thus exposing his face for Soko and Shiwa to see. With his true face revealed, Mysterium flies away without explaining to Soko and Shiwa, whom the latter tried to stop him. Unfortunately, he disappeared in the clouds without a trace.
