He was originally a traveler that lived one-hundred twenty years prior of the series who embarks on a quest for knowledge and understanding Eukoryotius’ true existence about how it came to be, which traces back to a phenomenon called “Dark Mysteries.” Sixty years later, he founded and created Phantom Enterprises with the sole purpose of triggering the Dark Mysteries phenomenon, thinking he may find out information about how Eukoryotius came to be by forcing Animaverians to evolve even if it means bringing death and corruption to them. He evenly positions himself as top chairperson of the business, and the company’s insignia is based on his face with a couple of features that go with it. He attempted to use his dark power to influence the population, but was stopped by the Animaverian government, he attempted to use more of his dark power to obliterate his enemies, but he ran out energy to fight, use the last bit of his power to retreat by teleporting away to a safe area, vowing that he will change the world like he envisioned, and sealed himself in a dark-colored triangle-shaped containment unit where he needed to rest. During his absence, his employees spent forty years collecting the souls he needed to regain his full power by spreading his products worldwide. His first official appearance was where he was being released from his dark-colored, triangle-shaped barrier-like sleeping containment unit that he created, after being reawakened, his employees are glad that they spent forty years gathering souls for his resurrection as he continues his ambition to force Animaverians to evolve into their advanced state even if it means adapting a savage nature and to increase the sales of his products to be spread worldwide. He was disappointed seeing that the world turned not like he envisioned during his absence. Currently at his weakening state, he wants to retain his power by eating more souls to retain more of his power to be ready to change Eukoryotius just like he attempted to do before. In the chapter, “Wrath of the Reaper!” he finally regained his full power by killing the former President of the Western Continent, Afo Pavo Jr. since his soul is described as powerful. Now that he is back on full strength, he is ready to change the world like he envisioned by triggering the second phase of the Dark Mysteries phenomenon. In the chapter, “The Darkness Uprising Part 2: Mother and Son”, his true name revealed to be “Amurg Zeu” a.k.a. “The Dark Skull King of the Underworld” since his current name is his alias. According to Furaha, ever since he was traced back to the Dark Mysteries phenomenon, he became no ordinary Animaverian Grim Reaper and was forever transformed into the most powerful of his own species. The only way to stop him is a “miracle.” He reappears before Soko and his allies at his own quarters, captures his mother’s soul, and triggers his ultimate weapon titled “Plan Annihi-Eight” where transforms all of Ghoul City into a giant saurian robot with scythe-like claws to strengthen the final stage of the Dark Mysteries. When he fought Soko, Mysterium, Paku, and Tsuyo, he removes his cloak, revealing his full appearance as a monstrous cybernetic skeleton-like monster. He has proven to be unstoppable with supernatural powers and was able subdue them with his chains. When Andersen and Kuchimba arrive, he hands Soko the Yin-Yang Peach, Andersen and Soko eat their respective Yin-Yang peaches that gave them incredible strength that is strong enough to defeat and end Amurg finally. He was killed by Andersen’s ultimate attack, “Sacred Purify Fire Explosion,” thus ending the corrupted corporation for good.
