When she in a fight against her enemies, she often shows her sadistic side of her, and to trap her enemies making them suffer before killing them. She can trap her victims into cylinder-shaped barriers to keep them contain until she can crush them to death, has powerful flight capabilities, claws that can cut through metal, and unleash a very loud screech like a real harpy. First appearing in the chapter, "Promotion Forest", after being created like the rest of her comrades by Dr. Butterfear. She along with Devasta were sent by their creator to ambush Norris and Sherry to be used as bait to lure Soko into a trap. Zephryia and Devasta attacked Amp, MJ, Cicala, Sherry, Norris, and Seishina during their promotional test and destroying the Tenchi Tree. She traps the six participants in a large cylinder-like barrier and wait for Soko to save his friends. Once the armored hero along with Kaya and Kuchimba show up and knowing that she and her partner, Devasta are Dr. Butterfear's latest creations as well as his lieutenants, they confronted and were difficult to defeat at first. Cicala manages to free the captured group with a sonic screech that deafen her, leaving Devasta unaffected due to the lack of ears. Taking advantage her deaf condition, Soko and Kaya used their combined ball form to knock her down to the ground, defeating her. After Soko was rewarded by Amp a Yin-Yang Peach as gratitude for saving him and his group, the defeated mutant duo were forced to retreat under their creator's orders about a crisis that just came up that caught Dr. Butterfear's concern, leaving her and Devasta confused of what he is referring to. Later after returning to their creator's laboratory, Zephryia and Devasta returned to Dr. Butterfear that they failed in their mission of killing Soko, however Dr. Butterfear forgives his minions for their failure due to being inspired by their strength and power that will serves him as his second generation of his mutant creations and prepares to discuss the crisis that has been going on. He orders Cross-O-Drone II to them the surveillance footage is the phenomenon that has been going on. As the camera footage plays showing dark mist are spreading at several parts of the world, as Dr. Butterfear looks at the footages, he begins to suffer from a massive headache (he remembers back when he was a caterpillar where he was running for his life after seeing an Animaverian Grim Reaper (unbeknownst to him is President Pluto), hides above the trees in fear, and seeing dark spirts floating), and collapses off his chair, lying unconsciousness. Fusia bursts through the door to get Dr. Butterfear in the infirmary, leaving Zephryia and Devasta confused.
